This is an Interim report on the Fifth Session of the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea, which was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 2 to 17 September 1976, to reflect on the conclusions to be drawn from the Fourth Session that discussed on how to stop exploitation of the sea by rich and well-equipped countries.
